FUJIN

HISTORY:

- Fujin was not born the traditional way as he came from the heavens. A God of Wind. His form, like that of the Elder Gods’, was that of an ethereal dragon, able to shift through dimensions. The realms had just began to flourish. . . And so the Gods were tasked as protectors of each realm. Fujin received EarthRealm along with his brother Raiden just before Shinnok’s first invasion.There he took form of a mortal man, dressed in rather extravagant clothing. . . Only tasked with one thing: “Do not meddle in the affairs of the realm”. But Fujin knew better. He often found himself out and about, going through many countries, states, even cities. He learned many languages. He often stayed away from Raiden unless he was needed. Fujin was very young and did not really care about what the Elder Gods had to say.- But they did not treat him such as they did Raiden. It was almost like he was the youngest child that got away with everything.Then it happened. Shinnok invaded Earthrealm for the first time, enamored with the people, the realm itself. Fujin assisted his brother in the wars but eventually was killed.- Luckily, he was not killed permanently for he reincarnated a few years later and remained in the Temple of Elements to protect Shinnok’s Amulet.After Shinnok’s second invasion of Earthrealm, Fujin became the new protector of Earthrealm.- His title did not stay long for he was killed by the Deadly Alliance and reincarnated later after Onaga’s return to find his brother, Raiden different. He knew that he had sacrificed himself but this Raiden was dark, not like his brother before.Fujin was the third person to make it up the pyramid along with Shao Kahn and Raiden. However, Raiden turned on Fujin and assisted Shao Kahn in his permanent death.- The timeline remake brought Fujin back and he was once again protecting Shinnok’s Amulet. Unfortunately like the other timelines, he was killed, reincarnated and eventually frozen by Cetrion. Ultimately ending in his permanent defeat. That was until the timeline was rewritten AGAIN. Now, he assists in protecting Earthrealm and has proven to be a far better Protector than Raiden.

HEADCANONS:

— The Elder Gods & Gods that reside in the Heavens/Void take the form of Ethereal Dragons that were shaped like the Mortal Kombat Dragon. Fujin’s was a white color mixed with a soft Gray, formed of wind. When he needed to go to Earthrealm, he took the form of a mortal man. The Gods’ dragon is much smaller than the Elder Gods’ dragon. All Dragon forms of the Gods are not physical to the touch. It’s almost like they are ghost-like.— Fujin has had many relationships but none lasted over a month because he is afraid of commitment. To fill the void, he flirts with others and if they show interest/states that they want to have sex with him, he will take them up on that offer.— Fujin secretly fears death. He has died permanently two times and each time was more painful than the last. But he copes with death far better than Raiden.— Fujin is scarily open and kind. He often goes out of his way to help others and form relationships/bonds with the mortals.— Fujin is like the cool uncle to Kidd Thunder.— He finds it hard to hate anyone, even past people who were evil. If they show they want to change for the better, he’ll be skeptical but ultimately give them a chance. That being said, if they are still evil, he will be rather rude to them.— Uses sex as a coping mechanism.— Elder Gods and Gods do not die, they simply return to the heavens until they are able to rebuild their physical form. Fujin has done this several times throughout his life.— Even though he is able to rebuild his physical form, scars from previous battles remain. He has them scattered all over his body plus a large one on his chest from the time Raiden killed him.— Fujin practically likes any animal, but since he lives with Raiden at Sky Temple, he’s around cats a lot.— He knows many, if not all languages but he mostly speaks English, German, Spanish, and Japanese. He knows the others but does not speak them unless he absolutely needs to.— Fujin makes a point to meditate and will often lecture his brother to do so.— He enjoys tea.— Despite being a God, Fujin DOES have a few phobias: Gamophobia fear of marriage, Necrophobia fear of death, Philophobia fear of love,— He doesn’t mind being touched or felt on. In a way, it is soothing to him.— Most of the time, he wears over-the-top clothing.— Fujin tries hard to help others and talk with them. That includes Raiden.— He is Demiromantic and Pansexual. He needs a strong emotional bond to even think about pursuing the relationship but will have sex with anyone without the chains.— Sometimes uses pet names! If he can think of then really.— His S/O could possibly affect his decisions & how he protects Earthrealm.— Going along with my headcanon with my Raiden (@HisFaithAlone), Fujin was also meant to be special made. He was created from the blood of Raiden, therefore his actual brother. Unfortunately, when things are made like that, the second one so forth tend to be less effective.He does not heed the Elder Gods word often. But usually can get away with it since he is not bound to them like Raiden is.— If I were to do Guardian of Time Fujin, he would make the timeline with balance and care. He will not let his timeline down.Will add more later
